The Knowledge Exchange Network through IT
This is a new and dynamic multimedia online Knowledge
Exchange Network platform (KEN-IT) designed to facilitate the life-long
learners (students) and lecturers in learning, assessment and teaching in any
field of Dentistry.
KEN-IT enables the sharing of knowledge and new models
of collaboration in any field of dentistry, at the University of Rwanda-Colleges
of Medicine and Health Science and beyond.
KEN-IT platform was developed as an
improvement to a traditional series of classroom lectures, provides a gateway
to an integrated source of knowledge and ways the students can access and share
way of health information through its online curricula materials and related
materials in and outside the classroom at any time.
The KEN-IT Live activity engages students as both
learners and teachers in contemporary health communications issues, while
simultaneously promoting mastery of the communication, social media and
networking tool-sets most important right now in Rwanda.
KEN-IT has been configured and customized to meet the
diverse virtual learning needs of a University student.
